Thermal imaging is useful in helping put the pieces of the jigsaw together and we offer it as part of our assessment

This horse was seen by the vet after behavioral problems and some swelling under saddle. He was diagnosed with fibrous tissue and prescribed physiotherapy. Thermal imaging revealed inflammation near to the spine and after a back scan it was found that this horse had a spur on one rib which was quite painful and had to be removed by surgey. The horse has recovered well.
